Welcome to the Palmer - Jones family tree.

The original tree was made by Claude Bowes Palmer October 1948 since then it has been expanded and confirmed or corrected by Linda Anne Palmer these pages have been made with the information from Linda's family tree makers program in order that we can encourage people who find a connection with their family to send extra information. I have not gathered this information and credit for the work must go to Claude and Linda. Eric Mark Palmer April 2003 

Because of objections from living members of the family info on living members is restricted to names only. Once it goes back then more info can be given. But anyone who wants more info is welcome to email us at eric@markpalmer.fsnet.co.uk or ericmark@talktalk.net especially family members. Each name is linked once a family page has been made, where a sir name only is linked it will take one to parents. On living family members page links take you to either email or other reference on page. This has been compiled using the original published pages as a base so there are a few link errors and some duplicate pages.

Although I have found a few systems able to convert GEDCOM files into HTML I found they included information I was not a liberty to show. Some people wanted maximum information shown but others even complained even if it showed maiden name. Automated systems can't allow for this so back to manual system. There are approx 250 pages each with two major names but the main data base contains 1287 names plus extra details so please email for more details.

The Palmer and Jones family tree are by far the biggest and once we go back beyond the living all birth and death can be included. So that an internet search can find the names each family member needs its own web page. But to navigate around these it still requires a name table to start the links. So I have made the index below. Each link takes one to a page of that family which in turn should allow one to view children, brothers and sisters and parents. I will expand on the info and links as time permits so please revisit to see updates.

With such a large job in making a web page for each of the Palmer names above while it is under construction I have used my old attempt as publishing the tree. As I get time I will slowly update each page with any new information gained. This will take some time. I still hope people will still send any updated info Please. It seems it will take a long time to include all known lines so it will be a little at a time added.
