This booklet was produced to help you it you are having trouble with your television or radio reception. Part 1, pages 1 to 10, explains the background to good broadcast reception and what you can do to check that your own television installation comprising aerial, aerial lead and television set are in good working order. Examples of the more common types of problems are pictured on pages 2 to 7. Information is also given on pages 8 to 10, on other domestic entertainment equipment such as video recorders, radios and hi-ti.
If having carried out the checks given in Part 1, you are unable to resolve the problem, you will need to contact your local radio and television dealer for whom Part 2 of this booklet has been prepared. Part 2, pages 11 to 17 gives technical prepared. Part 2, pages 1 to 17 gives technical guidance to dealers on tracing, locating and remedying television and radio reception problems,
